The Haven: Day Sheltering for Unhoused Community

The Haven is a day shelter for neighbors experiencing homelessness. Come in out of the weather, sit down, and be treated with dignity.

Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 AM to 2 PM

What we offer:

• Two hot meals a day

• Hot showers

• Laundry

• Connections to jobs, education, and local resources

Most meals are prepared by local churches and community groups who care about our neighbors. We serve 25 to 30 guests every day.

Need somewhere to stay overnight?

The Haven does not offer overnight shelter, but our staff can give you a list of options. Please be aware The Family Center does not pay for hotel room stays. Upon request Haven staff may offer a SafePark pass to permit overnight sleeping in an approved vehicle in our parking lot for a limited amount of time. 

Winter warming station: On the coldest nights, we partner with local churches to open a warming station so no one is left out in the cold.
