A hot shower. Clean clothes. A hot meal. For someone standing at the edge of homelessness, these aren't small things, they're the first steps back. For 30 years The Family Center has been the first point of care for the marginalized in Maury County. But we need your help to move beyond relief and into transformation.
Every day, 30 to 45 of our neighbors in Columbia come through The Haven's doors, just to have a safe place to be. Last year, nearly 300 families turned to Good Samaritan to keep the lights on or fill a prescription. And more than 30 individuals moved from crisis into a home of their own through Back Home Again. Each number is a person who needed someone to walk with them, not just hand them a form.
Where Your Gift Goes
$25 provides a week of meals, showers, and laundry for a single guest at The Haven
$50 helps a family stay in their home through Good Samaritan, covering a utility bill or a month of medication
$100 supports a case management session through Back Home Again, helping someone move from crisis toward permanent housing
$250 funds a full month of Haven services for one guest, from their first visit to their next steps
