We are incredibly thankful for all of the volunteers that ensure our community is well served each day. Some volunteers work at The Haven, our homeless day shelter, and others provide administrative support. We also have events, and special holiday experiences to join in as well. Holiday Volunteering at The Family Center
The Family Center operates a hugely impactful holiday season here in Columbia. Santa's Workshop is perhaps our biggest event, but we also coordinate the warming stations for our homeless during the freezing cold nights of winter. To fund it we ring Salvation Army bells throughout the city during December. So there are just so many meaningful ways to get involved with The Family Center during the winter months.
